I recently added a couple of PHP WebServices to my site so that I can use them for testing at work and for educational purposes. If you don’t know what a WebService is then you probably don’t need to know, if you are interested then there is a good definition here on wikipedia.

Slow file transfer Host to VM

Wednesday, September 2nd, 2009

I’ve been busy building a new virtual machine today to use as a TIBCO Active Matrix instance and had around 3GB of software installation files to copy across from my local host machine running Windows7 onto my Windows 2000 VM running in VMware Workstation 6.5.
Copying a single 50MB file across the windows administration share onto [...]

Jeff and I ended up spending most of Saturday Sunday and Monday stressing [...]

The best invention since sliced bread?

Wednesday, April 18th, 2007

Would I want one? No chance…. I hate the sound of the alarm. Would I buy one? Definitly, I’d give [...]

New gallery theme

Monday, February 12th, 2007

I’ve been fiddling with a new gallery template for the odds and ends pictures and have settled on “PGTheme” designed by a guy named Pedro Gilberto. Asside from the obviously crap logo I think I’m pretty happy with it as is.
I suspect I will still use SimpleViewer for one off sets of pictures but [...]
